Still Life

Throughout history, still lifes are one of the most popular types of art. “Basket of Fruit” by Michaelangelo Merisi de Caravaggio is an excellent example. Figure out the story you want to tell (did you roll something for “mood” that would guide your choices?) and arrange 1-5 natural or man-made objects to create your still-life subject.

Artist Tip: Choose items of varying size, shape, color, and texture to create interest!
