Portrait

A portrait is an artistic representation of a person. This is similar to Figure in that they are both of a person, but the portrait’s main focus is on the face and the figure’s main focus is the body.

 Artist Tip: James Gurney divided the face into three color zones: the forehead is a whitish or golden color, cheeks and noses are reddish, and the chin/jawline tends toward a bluish, greenish, or grayish color
